Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily and weekly project planning, quality, and customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate effectively with clients, managers, office staff and other crew members.

• Provides on-site project oversight when Project Manager is not on site.

• Manages a crew of 2-4 employees. May also be working alone at times.

• Be willing to train fellow crew members and give constructive criticism.

• Resonsible for truck and tools at all times.

• Meet deadlines and ensure projects come in at or under budget.

• Establish and support a positive commitment to safety.

• Work with Landscape construction crews on the same project from time to time.

 

Skills:

•  2 years of professional Irrigation installation and maintenance experience.

• Knowledge of sprinkler installations, startup, maintenance and winterizations.

• Strong ability to read plans and specifications and build systems according to the plans.

• Strong problem solving skills is a MUST!

• Ability to show working knowledge of tools and equipment.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Trencher operating skills.

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• Ability to pull and back trailers.

• Self-motivated and driven to achieve goals.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of backflow assembly’s, sprinkler parts and soil types.

Schedule:

• 8-12 hour shifts 40-60 hours per week in peak season.

• Snow & Ice work possible in winter.

 

Experience:

• Irrigation Technician: 1 year (Required)

 

License/Certification:

• Driver's License with clean record (Required)
