Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily and weekly project planning, quality, and accomplishment by the crew.

• Collaborate with clients, general contractors, design team and subs to understand their needs and preferences.

• Provides on-site project oversight when Project Manager is not on site.

• Manages a crew of 2-4 employees.

• Be willing to train fellow crew members and give constructive criticism.

• Resonsible for truck and install tools at all times.

• Meet deadlines and ensure projects come in at or under budget.

• Establish and support a positive commitment to safety.

 

Skills:

•  2 years of professional landscape experience.

•  1 year experience being a crew leader.

• Strong ability to read plans and specifications and build landscapes according to the plans.

• Strong problem solving skills is a MUST!

• Ability to show working knowledge of tools and equipment.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Strong skid steer and excavator operating skills.

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• Ability to pull and back trailers.

• Self-motivated and driven to achieve goals.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of local plant species, climate conditions, and soil types.

Schedule:

• 8-12 hour shifts 40-60 hours per week in peak season.

License/Certification:
