We are currently seeking a full-time Landscape Mowing Foreman with a Monday through Friday work schedule at $18-$22/hr DOE. Bonus opportunities are available. Must be 18 years old to apply. Must have valid WA driver license with a clean record.

Rimrock Landscapes is looking for an enthusiastic, team player to lead a crew in the completion of various landscape maintenance accounts and projects. Must be eager to learn, grow with us and teach others.

Must be able to effectively and tactfully motivate and lead 2-4 team members in the completion of elite, high-end residential and commercial accounts in all aspects of the landscape management profession. Must have significant experience in all areas including lawn maintenance, proper planting techniques, horticultural pruning, spring and fall cleanups, and snow removal. Must have some plant knowledge, and be able to effectively communicate and interact with clients, and co-workers.

 

Hours: 40-50 hours per week in peak season Mon - Fri some Saturdays

Experience we’re looking for:

  • Landscaping industry including plant knowledge and planting technique

  • Lawn Maintenance, Fertilizer Application, and Horticultural Pruning

  • Spring and fall cleanups

  • Snow and Ice Removal and Management

  • Client Communication

  • Subcontractor Collaboration

  • Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent (Additional a plus!)

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand and implement job specifications for each site

  • Must be able to safely pull and back trailers up to 20’long

  • Assign daily tasks to crew members and ensure compliance

  • Perform landscape maintenance tasks including, but not limited to: mowing, edging, blowing, bed grooming, pruning, fertilizing and leaf pick up

  • Routinely monitor sites for quality and follow up with crews on performance improvements. Communicate continuing concerns to Area Manager

  • Conduct and oversee execution of minor Enhancement projects performed at the crew level

  • Complete daily paperwork timely and accurately

  • Assess equipment operation issues and effectively communicate repair needs to shop personnel

  • Supervise safe loading and unloading of equipment

  • Assist Area Manager with initial and on-going training of crews

  • Assess skill level and work behavior of employees and provide recommendations to Area Manager regarding professional development, performance evaluation and promotional opportunities

  • Ensure adherence to company policies

  • Develop and maintain a positive work relationship with Area Manager, peers, and subordinates

  • Encourage and maintain safe working conditions by promoting Company’s “Culture of Safety”, including but not limited to reinforcing bi-weekly safety tailgate meetings and ensuring proper personal protective equipment usage
